Wagging Tails is hiring Dogwalkers!

We’re looking to expand our team and are looking for someone who is:

• Available Mon-Fri between 10AM-4PM (+/- an hour)
• Need to have a valid license and car
• With strong written & oral communication skills
• Who enjoys being physically active, who can work in various weather conditions and walk +/- 5-15 km per day
• Open to potential weekends/evenings/overnight Petsits
• Comfortable working as an independent sub-contractor (submitting your own taxes etc.)
• Technologically literate with a smartphone equipped with a camera & data plan
• Reliable, punctual and eager to learn and grow in a small, local, female run business
• Located in the south west (PSC, St. Henri, Little Burgundy)
• Comfortable managing their own schedule
• With a clean criminal record check
• Who is a team player but who can also function independently
• Able to start part time while building up a clientele.

Working knowledge or dogs and canine behaviour is an asset however you do not need any professional dog walking experience, training will be provided.

Essential responsibilities:

• Maintain good communication with clients and always keep them up to date with any issues/changes with their pets
• Maintain up to date schedule & availability digitally (shared calendar, dog walking app)
• Follow any specific client requests regarding feeding, leashing, house rules etc.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Promise to treat all animals with respect, never harm an animal in our care or use any aversive dog handling tools
• Arrive on time to all appointments
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Complete all appointments in our dog walking app
• Uphold exceptional canine safety
