My client has the unique ability to complete an entire project without the need for subcontractors.

The business is fast paced and entrepreneurially driven, so candidates applying must be prepared to balance local/regional decision making with corporate oversite and best practices.

You will:

• Proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement.
• Relevant hands-on experience in a leadership role of a procurement function preferably in a manufacturing/construction/civils/ major capital environment
• Develop and implement innovative procurement and sourcing strategies which are aligned with the company’s business strategies.
• Confident with building trusted relationships with executives by demonstrating subject matter expertise in the procurement function.
• Strategic and creative thinking, excellent written, presentation, communication and influencing skills.
• Motivated to build solid and collaborative relationships with team members and foster a productive teamwork environment
• Plan, organize, direct and control activities related to the procurement function (project procurement and operational purchasing), including supplier/vendor management.
