Job Summary
We are seeking a Cost Engineer II to join the Project Controls Group of CS Projects Department. The Project Controls Group is responsible for providing support to all concerned Divisions related to Project Cost Control, Scheduling Control, Contracts Administration and Reporting Projects KPIs. The Cost Engineer II primary role is to carry out cost functions during all stages of the project. These functions are related to the project cost activities and project execution of capital and non-capital projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process project change orders and schedule changes.
- Participate in the budgeting process for capital projects.
- Provide cost analysis and evaluation of project cost, project forecast, and cost trend analysis.
- Initiate funding for project proposal development and monitor proposal activities.
- Assist in the preparation for quarterly review by executive management.
- Provide professional judgment and experience in business and program cost planning, cost estimating, cost control, and change management.
- Participate in the project close-out phase.
- Assist in the preparation of expenditure requests to ensure adequacy.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 10 years' experience in construction cost engineering.
- At least five years of experience in the cost control aspect of construction projects.
- Certification related to Cost Engineering, such as CCEP (Certified Cost Engineer/Professional) and/or PMP (Project Management Professional), will be considered an asset.
- This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
- Minimum four (4) year bachelor's degree from an accredited UK university in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
