Cost Controls Engineer Jobs

Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management

Inform management on customer needs and business opportunities.

Manage subconsultants including but not limited to their proposals, agreements, invoices, schedules, and deliverables

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Cost

Knowledge of linear infrastructure processes for design and contract administration

· Professional certifications in project management, Lean Six Sigma, or related fields are a plus.

· Excellent project management skills, including prioritizing tasks, managing timelines, and allocating resources effectively.

· Manage and maintain project scope, schedules, tasks, priorities, and risk.

· Knowledge of cost reduction methodologies.

Product Engineer - Cost Reduction

Project management experience - preferably in the aerospace sector;

Earned Value Management (EVM) experience;

project management experience - preferably in the aerospace sector;

Creates and manages Project Management Plans (Scope, Time, Cost, Risk Management, Stakeholder, Quality, Communication, HR, etc.) for various Engineering Projects;

Manages forecasts within Project Management and Financial tools to improve accuracy and reliability in support of budget, resource and workforce planning;

Utilizes Earned Value Management (EVM)techniques and reports on progress including variance mitigation;

Provide professional judgment and experience in business and program cost planning, cost estimating, cost control, and change management.

Certification related to Cost Engineering, such as CCEP (Certified Cost Engineer/Professional) and/or PMP (Project Management Professional), will be considered an asset.

Assist in the preparation for quarterly review by executive management.

Minimum four (4) year bachelor's degree from an accredited UK university in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Experience: At least 10 years' experience in construction cost engineering.

At least five years of experience in the cost control aspect of construction projects.

Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.

2-3 years Extensive experience in Resources Loading and Cost Analysis

College and/or University degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work site environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).

Willingness for continuous learning and advancement of technical knowledge.

Offer input and recommendations for cost engineering requirements, including staffing, project controls, and analyzing scope, quantities, and cost data.

Proactively advise management of forecasted costs exceeding the approved budget.

Analyze contractors' cost reports and extract necessary data for management reporting.

Prepare and deliver monthly cost engineering information, along with additional ad-hoc reports as requested by Management.

Demonstrate broad, multi-discipline knowledge and experience in cost engineering for Oil and Gas projects.

Organize, monitor, and control project costs, aligning with contractual requirements, objectives, and Company procedures.

Work closely with client’s project manager and team leads for regulated and non-regulated accounting reporting requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering within discipline or equivalent professional experience.

Previous experience in a closely related position.
