CONTROLLER

Responsibilities Include:

• Leading the period end close process and preparation of advisory board materials
• Consolidating and reporting results across all lines of business and operating jurisdictions within 5 business days following the close of the period
• Minimizing our tax exposure and ensure that our financial statements remain in good standing with external audit and advisory partners
• Ensuring that the organization remains in good standing relative to debt covenant obligations
• Managing the chart of accounts in support of all affiliated businesses
• Managing working capital and liquidity position
• Leading the annual planning and quarterly forecast process
• In this position you will have 2 direct reports
• Advising the business and relevant stakeholders on all accounting related matters and ensure 100% compliance with all relevant accounting standards
• Managing audit, tax, banking and treasury functions and engage with external advisory partners as required (bank, audit, etc)

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience as a Controller in a manufacturing environment
• 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller/Controller with Cost Accounting at heart & must be HANDS ON
• Impeccable accuracy with numbers and high attention to detail
• Excellent English communication skills
• Expert Excel/Computer skills
• Ability to prioritize and work independently
• CPA is required
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Dynamics/ MS Business Central
• MBA is an asset

This position's compensation range is between $110,000-$120,000 + Bonus + Benefits
