Job Description

Our company Software International (SI) supplies technical talent to Fortune 100 & 500 IT/Telco companies across Canada and the US. We are currently helping our construction management consulting client hire a Construction Estimator for their growing team.


:


* Collect all pertinent documents, including property plans, technical drawings, and project specifications

* Meeting with clients and inspecting the construction sites to understand what work is required fully

* Collecting multiple quotes for each of these and then selecting the most suitable offers

* Perform risk assessments to account for potential deviations from the project plan

* Must have experience determining the amount of all materials needed (take off)

* Experience managing large budgets


Qualifications

* Degree in Mechanical engineering, Architecture, or similar

* Qualification in project management is highly advantageous

* Must have experience as a construction estimator

* Strong ability to forecast the cost of high-ticket, involved in building developments

* Must be dependable, conscientious, and well spoken


-Prefer residential builds

-Must of done materials needed and Take-off's

-Come from large construction builds
