Concepteur(Trice) De Niveaux En Chef / Lead Level Designer

Gearbox, le développeur des titres à succès Borderlands, Brothers in Arms et Battleborn est à la recherche d'un Concepteur de niveaux en chef pour son studio.
RESPONSABILITÉS :

• Encadrer l’équipe de concepteurs à respecter la direction du jeu et les échéanciers
• Communiquer clairement les intentions de l’expérience de chaque niveaux à l’équipe
• Rester à jour sur les nouvelles tendances et des dernières innovations de l’industrie
• En étroite collaboration avec le Directeur Jouabilité, le Concepteur de Niveaux en Chef est responsable de la conception des niveaux d’un jeu d’action en première personne (1st Person Shooter).
• Innover en respectant la compétition et l’audience cible identifiée pour le projet
• Collaborer avec les autres départements pour s'assurer de la faisabilité et de la qualité des niveaux
• Récolter les impressions sur l’expérience au sein des niveaux auprès des coéquipiers et en organisant des groupes test

PROFIL DU CANDIDAT:

• Expérience en gestion
• 10 ans d'expérience à titre de designer dans l'industrie du jeu vidéo
• Expérience sur Unreal Engine
• Avoir livré au moins trois titres multiplateformes
• Enthousiaste, positif, axé sur l’équipe
• Maîtrise de plusieurs engins de jeu
• Aptitude démontrée à pouvoir résoudre des problèmes complexes. Adepte du Système
• Maîtrise de logiciels pour supporter son travail; Photoshop, 3DS Max, etc.
• Connaissances en programmation
• Excellent esprit de leadership et de relations interpersonnelles

Gearbox, the developer of the hit titles Borderlands, Brothers in Arms and Battleborn is looking for a Lead Level Designer for its Studio.
RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Clearly communicate the mechanic expectations of the game to the team
• Guide and look after the designer’s team to respect the deadlines and make sure the game goes in the right directions
• Stay up to date on the new trends and new innovations of the industry
• Work and collaborate with other departments to insure the feasibility and the quality of the levels
• Innovate by respecting our competition and the targeted audience for the project
• In collaboration with the Gameplay Director, the Lead level Designer is responsible for the design of the mechanics of the First-Person Shooter in an action game
• Gather gameplay feedback from teammates by organizing test groups

CANDIDATE PROFILE :

• Unreal Engine experience
• Enthusiastic, positive and team orientated
• Excellent leadership spirit and interpersonal skills
• 10 years of experience as a Designer in the video game industry
• Proficiency of gaming engines
• Strong skills in complex problem solving. Ability to manage situations
• Programming knowledge
• Management experience
• To have delivered at least three multiplatform titles
• Proficiency with work support software: Photoshop, 3DS Max, etc.
