We currently have a Community Evening Attendant opportunities at Silvera for Seniors. This Part-time Permanent position is based at our Spruce Commons Community located at 1055 Bow Valley Drive N.E., Calgary, Alberta.

Shift hours are: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm (48 hours per pay period and 8 hours per shift) Weekend availability is a MUST.
Reporting to the Culinary Supervisor, the Community Evening Attendant is responsible for the overall cleanliness and safety of the community during their shift.
Key Responsibilities Include

• Responsible for the overall security and safety of the community and residents during the assigned shift
• Responsible to serve meals and beverages in a polite and professional manner, responsible for food preparation and clean up duties in the kitchen
• Completes documentation of required tasks
• Reports any safety issues to the Community Manager and is knowledgeable in emergency procedures and can act accordingly
• Resolves any emergency situations which may arise and completes all paperwork and follows procedures as required
• Responsible for the daily/weekly cleaning, cleaning and setting up the dining room and staff room

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Basic computer skills
• High safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to effectively work independently or within a team
• Previous serving experience
• Flexible, willing and positive attitude
