As a tech start-up with less than 10 employees, Shop this City will allow you the opportunity to work directly with the executive team. This presents a chance for you to take on a leadership role in your daily activities, all the while receiving guidance and mentorship to explore new skills and opportunities.
As the Communications and Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and supporting both marketing and operational activities at Shop This City. Tasks include but are not limited to assisting in marketing campaigns, social media, tracking user and store data, inventory management, and supporting operational processes throughout the company.
Responsibilities:
- Reaching out to influencers as directed to confirm ongoing or new initiatives.
- Assist with customer service.
- Engage in market research to uncover emerging trends and potential opportunities.
- Organizing and uploading content created by the team
- Support the team in the execution of in-person and virtual events.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and provide reports to the management team.
- Inventory management and Partner onboarding.
- STC App maintenance, testing, and UX/UI review.
- Support the team with daily administrative tasks as directed.
- Coordinate digital marketing content across various platforms (including but not limited to social media, email, and web).
- Other assignments as directed.
- Help streamline operational processes, tools, and workflows.
Requirements:
- Enjoys reporting analytics and record keeping.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Honors diversity and thinking with an inclusive and positive mindset.
- An interest in fashion and retail is a must.
- Knowledge of Canva (or similar programs) and social media platforms is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with working in a start-up environment.
- Excellent communication and writing skills are required.
Qualifications:
- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data for reporting purposes.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving and identifying process improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changes, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in marketing tools, project management software, and G Suite.
