: JOB PURPOSE Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Technology Services, the Cloud Engineer will collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, operations, and security teams to support continuous delivery. Working as port of a team, you will be responsible for design, implementation, and management of company’s cloud infrastructure and services. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, architect and support the cloud infrastructure that powers our applications and services. Collaborate with business, application developers and the product support team to discover the best ways to enable business value through cloud services and process.Administration of cloud infrastructure and services and ensure that all cloud solutions follow company’s technical, security and compliance standards and controlsEffectively create and deploy services to reduce the effort required to manage, monitor and respond to incidents and requests. Develop tools, scripts and processes to increase the product support team productivity and efficiency.Create and maintain technical documentation that helps teams understand how to use the cloud services and to support the efficiency of the development team and the product support team.Assist in maintaining a roadmap of cloud services improvements and capacity planning aligned with product roadmaps.Provide prompt support for application releases and delivery, and work with development team and product support to triage and debug complex issues at every level of the stack.Provide guidance and support for escalated incidents and problems.Support and operationalize technology standards, processes, and policies related to Systems and Cloud QUALIFICATIONS Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.3+ years of experience in a cloud role and 1+ years of experience in software development or system administration.Expert knowledge of cloud services including but not limited to relational DBs, computing, storage, networking, IAM, microservices, container.Advanced experience with Linux and proficient in Python, Shell Script, JavaScript and SQL.Thorough knowledge of networking.Experience in application and system level security and hardening practices.Familiar with common CI/CD tools and the best practices.Hands-on Experience with API and microservices along with loosely coupled architectureExperience with Terraform would be a plusAWS or Azure certification is nice to have Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsUnderstanding of Agile scrum methodologies and experience of working in an Agile teamExcellent communication skills, both written and oralStrong personal integrity in dealing with confidential and sensitive informationSelf-motivated, confident, and capable of working both independently and in a team environmentAbility to manage and prioritize multiple projects, many with tight deadlinesAbility to think critically and make decisions.
