Job Summary

Court Services Branch is responsible for the delivery of all court administration services in BC. These consist of registry, trial support and Sheriff Services for all levels of court. The Registry provides the infrastructure to process documents that are required by the court to ensure timely and effective processing of court cases and support to the justice system.

The Registry Clerk provides administrative support in the processing of documentation required by the court system to accurately reflect court results. This position maintains court files while ensuring integrity of case data in the case tracking system. The Registry Clerk also provides informational service to all uses of the court system.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in keyboarding, data entry, word processing and standard computer applications and software programs (e.g. Windows, MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Secondary school graduation or equivalent (GED).
• Must have 40 WPM keyboarding speed.
• Minimum one (1) year experience working in an office environment OR minimum one (1) year combination of customer service, clerical duties, office experience and education.

Preference May Be Given To Applicants With

• Experience in accounting services.
• Experience in Court Programs and Applications (such as JUSTIN, CEIS, ARC, CTAS, CCD).
• Experience with delivering Customer Service.
