Job Description

The Office of the Deputy Clerk, Administration is currently looking to staff the Client Service Advisor position (ADG-F).


As part of this team, you will provide a single point of contact for clients on financial service requirements, brokers services to clients, and act as an expert interface in resolving requests and, where necessary, convey concerns to other areas. You will monitor trends and work closely with Financial Services stakeholders to provide proactive advisory services to clients in the area of accounting operations, including budget reviews and travel point balances, support clients in the achievement of their expectations and objectives, and ensure effective stewardship of the House’s financial resources.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Completed post-secondary education from a recognized institution in finance, commerce or business administration OR acceptable combination of education, training and relevant experience.


Experience:

  • Experience receiving and responding to requests from clients;
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a call or contact centre;
  • Experience in applying accounting or finance principles and practices, including public sector financial policies and best practices.
  • Experience in providing services to high-profile clients;


Assets:

  • Experience using an Integrated Financial System.
  • Experience providing financial advice;
