Our team is growing, and we are actively looking to hire a Claim Advisor, Accident Benefits MIG (Minor Injury Guideline) to join our Ontario team!
Role Designation: Home-Based (Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia or New Brunswick with Ontario region experience)
Accountabilities:
- Investigation and settlement of minor injury claims (first party)
- Ensure superior customer service experience
- Advise distribution partner on possible coverage opportunities
- Ensure prompt and equitable settlement of claims
- Interpreting insurance policy wordings, determine policy coverages and reserves
Qualifications:
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Minimum post-secondary education or equivalent
- Have a medical background and experience working in a medical environment
- Minimum of 1-2 years adjusting insurance claims or similar role
- Enrolled in, or completion of, CIP designation
