About The Role


Our team is looking for a Cell Planner to join our team onsite in the London location. We will set you up for success through on-the-job training with more senior team members. You will be successful by driving incremental and step-function improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (SQDIP). Accountabilities


  • Controls and maintains the kanban process within a designated area(s).
  • Organizes customer orders, and confirms material availability for shipment.
  • Provides, maintains and ensures accurate inventory transaction and tracking information of goods. ( ex. system processing, picking, scanning)
  • Places orders for kanban materials with internal and external suppliers.
  • Liaisons with Manufacturing, Production Planning, Purchasing, Traffic, Materials, and Sales to maintain the areas of accountability
  • Initiates expediting towards fulfillment of Finished Goods, and Materials shortages.
  • Leads the organization of the Manufacturing area’s production schedule.
  • Provides and ensures accurate material control and identification of materials. (ex. cycle counting, location, kanban audits)


Qualifications


  • Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Office as well as possess a working knowledge of a MRP / ERP system.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to relate to all levels of personnel throughout the organization required
  • 3-5 year experience in a Manufacturing Environment with specific exposure to Production Planning, Materials, or Logistics required. Post-secondary education in Operations or Materials Management. CPIM certification an asset.
