Carpenter's Helper Jobs

Our member company is a locally owned and operated company established in 1977. In the past decade, our company has expanded to include a second generation of masons including current owners (and brothers. After 45 years in operation, the business continues to provide clients with exceptional service in the masonry, excavating, and general contracting business.

Serving residential, commercial, and industrial properties across eastern Ontario from Perth, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

• Task execution in an efficient, safe, and profitable manner
• Material placement, quantity, and quality control
• Quality control of the assigned tasks
• Daily clean up of work area
• General carpentry and/or finishing carpentry duties as assigned
• Concrete forming
• Communication with the crew foreman and/or site supervisor

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Good communication and listening skills
• Construction experience is an asset
• Reliable and adaptable
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• A desire to learn on the job

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Willing to work at heights (trusses)
• Must have basic carpentry tools and steel-toe work boots
• High School Diploma, or equivalent or enrollment in a Co-Op or Apprenticeship Program
