We are looking for a responsible person to help us off-load aluminum extrusions and steel components from trucks, keep track of inventory and help prepare material for supply to our departments.

Successful candidates will be safety oriented, punctual and have experience operating a Forklift. Overhead crane experience is an asset, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Periodic inventory cycle counts and reconciliation
• Complete the inventory tag and affix to each bundle.
• Receive and unload all incoming deliveries
• Inspect bundles in inventory and replace any missing/damaged tags
• Organize and store tagged inventory using overhead crane
• Verify extrusion types and quantities against the packing list
• Identifying material and moving of complete bundles with overhead crane and assisting with forklift spotting - with potential for forklift training
• Inputting data into spreadsheets using Microsoft Office
• Other duties as assigned
• Picking and preparing extrusions or other parts for shipment or assembly
• Ensure all paperwork is properly organized and provided to Department Manager
• Returning unused extrusions to storage area and maintaining it in an orderly way

Qualifications And Skills

• Ability to read and speak English
• Attention to detail and demonstrated care with handling material
• Good communication skills and desire to work as part of a smaller team
• Adaptability and problem solving skills
• Forklift license
• Microsoft office proficient
