Job Description
We are currently seeking a Grounds Keeper/Landscaper to assist the Horticulturalist in maintaining our properties in Niagara on the Lake. The successful candidates will be responsible for lawn and garden maintenance while working in a safe and courteous manner.


The Successful Candidate Will Be Accountable For


  • Maintaining garden maintenance throughout the season
  • Spring and Fall property cleanup preparing beds and containers for planting
  • Working outdoors in various conditions
  • Maintaining grounds for daily tours and special events
  • Maintaining lawn care for properties cut and trimming properties
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act


The Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following Qualifications/skills


  • Excellent communication skills, excellent internal and external customer service
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work load on a daily basis to meet established deadline
  • Landscape, grounds maintenance experience and/or education
  • Hours of work vary and some overtime and weekend work may be required
  • Knowledge of lawn and garden equipment, riding mowers, trimmers, rototiller, hedgers
  • Ability to work independently
