Machine Operator Helper Jobs

The Operator Helper assists in the appropriate operation of the Hyppo sealer, the Hayssen (Curd room), or any other machinery for our numerous product forms under the direction of the Production Supervisor. While adhering to all established health and safety, food safety, quality control, and manufacturing standards and regulations, the person in place assists in managing the packaging process.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Complete all jobs and actions safely and in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
• Assistance with routine equipment maintenance.
• All manufacturing and packing reports must be finished.
• Assist in coordinating the complete packaging process in accordance with the manufacturing schedule.
• Assistance with format conversions.
• Clean, sanitise, and maintain the equipment.
• Help with operating and feeding the Hayssen and Hyppo manufacturing machinery, including labelling, stocking the machinery with the required goods, and doing any other duties relating to the Cheese Curds Room.

Requirements

• High school diploma completion is required, however equivalent education and experience are often accepted.
• Excellent physical ability to do bending, repeated actions, and continuous movement during your shift.
• Daytime, evening, and weekend shifts as needed for the production.
• Excellent physical condition to lift heavier than 20 kg repeatedly during your shift.
• Possession of relevant experience working in a structured industrial setting.
• Possess the ability to work with chemicals.
• Bilingual: English and/or French, spoken and written (asset).
• Show exceptional awareness of and compliance with workplace health and safety regulations as well as with established sanitary procedures.
