(Can) Senior Manager, Ad Product & Platforms

Position Summary...The Senior Manager, Ad Product & Platforms will lead the formation of Walmart Connect’s overall roadmap for advertising products and platforms with the goal of significantly increasing its inventory and advertising revenues. You will be responsible for the overall strategic and technical oversight of advertising technologies and drive research efforts to increase and validate the team's understanding of customer needs. This role will require the Senior Manager to define and monitor key business metrics and adapt short and long-term plans based on insights derived from data. 
The successful candidate will be a collaborative product leader with in-depth knowledge of advertising technology and the programmatic ecosystem and will be responsible for the development of advertising products of Walmart Connect Media (onsite, offsite, video, live streaming, network advertising, and more emerging platforms). You are obsessed with delivering customer-centric and optimal advertising experiences, learn from your successes & failures and are wired for impact. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying key partners and technology platforms that will accelerate advertising revenue growth. You will lead the definition, selection, and implementation of the tools & tech used to plan, execute, and track media activity across the Walmart Connect ecosystem.
What You'll Do...

• Contribute to key exercises including annual planning, long range planning, budgeting, and forecasting for Product Development across the ad business, Walmart Canada and Walmart as a whole.
• Balance priorities across various portfolios to obtain maximum business value and be the voice of product decisions internally and externally.
• Collaborate with leaders within Walmart Connect, Walmart Canada, and across Walmart Connect's international markets to identify, ideate, influence, socialize, and align on strategic priorities.
• Define goals and KPIs to measure success with your teams while reporting on metrics that ladder up to overall OKRs.
• Be the primary point of contact for potential technology partners to evaluate feasibility and possible inclusion in our ad tech stack, including commercial and legal negotiations. 
• Be an effective people manager – lead and manage a team and help build the overall Product Development practice.
• Consolidate multiple ad product streams (display, sponsored, offsite, etc) into a cohesive roadmap for Walmart Connect and ensure that it aligns with the business strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in performance marketing across all major digital channels including Search, Social, Programmatic Display, Affiliates and App stores
• 5+ Years of experience with e-commerce platforms
• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years’ of relevant digital marketing, CRM, engagement, media experience, including the use of first party and third-party data sources
• Positive, inclusive, people first and results oriented
• Excellent communications skills – leading meetings, work sessions, brainstorming, planning sessions, iterations and briefing development discussions; presentation skills
• Ability to see the strategic importance of data and its ability to enable personalized client experiences and intelligent decision making across the business
• Knowledge of advanced digital marketing measurement and attribution methodologies
• Deep knowledge of the marketing tech ecosystem, ad tech platforms and analytics platforms including Google Marketing Platform, Google SA360, Google Analytics 360, Facebook marketing platform and Salesforce; define and implement ad tech roadmap for Walmart Canada
• Excellent interpersonal /team building skills including experience managing high-performing teams
• Seasoned in managing timelines, delivery, dependencies, communication across teams
