C# / .Net Developer - Major Investment Bank - Toronto

Botsford Associates is looking for a C# / .NET Developer to assist our client with a migration from ACBS to Secure Hub (Tao Product). Currently as of May 2023 the client is in the final stages of parallel testing and will be utilizing the successful individual's development skills for "Day 2 Activities” which mainly involve working on reports as well as bridging gaps between vendor data to downstream batch files. Additionally, smaller projects will enter the fold which based on this person's expertise will have the opportunity to impact once the main project is settled.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with other developers to write code, debug issues, and integrate code changes
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues
• May also be responsible for maintaining existing software applications. This includes fixing bugs, updating code, and adding new features to existing applications
• Designing and implementing applications based on requirements gathered from business analysts or project managers (C#/.NET)
• Writing and testing code: C#/.NET using the C# programming language and .NET framework

Must Haves:

• Capital Markets background
• Not focused on product knowledge but to understand Culture, Pace, etc.
• 8+ years of C# / .NET & Java OR C++
• 8+ years of MS SQL / SQL DB and/or Oracle

Nice to Haves:

• SSRS/SSIS (SQL Server Reporting Services), Crystal Reports
• JavaScript
• Understanding business process surrounding trading (FO, MO, BO, Risk)
• Exago (BI platform), Power BI
• Strong to Advanced knowledge of Asset Backed Securities, Mortgage Backed Securities, Securitization, Fixed Income, Commerical Papers, Repos, Bonds etc.
• Tao Solutions based products (Secure Hub, LoanComplete, TradeFlow, LeaseComplete, LoanPilot, Structured Finance Solutions)
• Experience on projects or minimum exposed to
• ACBS
• Secure Hub
• Angular (No front end needed but could be good in case)
