Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing records, including contracts, agreements, pricing, and supplier information.
  • Generate and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and service.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve favorable purchasing conditions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with accounts payable to resolve any invoicing or payment discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve any material-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality control, to determine material requirements for manufacturing operations.


Expectations:


  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and specifications.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Experience:


  • Proven experience as a Buyer within a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
