Business Data Analyst, Merchandising

Your main responsabilities:

• Support the Merchandising team with weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports, budgets, forecasting.
• Optimize and automate processes and reports to measure business results and the financial health of the business, building data models, which are accurate, easy to understand, and unbiased, for descriptive and analysis from different data sources.
• Participate in numerous Merchandising department projects, supporting the Merchandising team with the master data and technical specifications to implement new tools and controls (IOT, BI, Blueport, others)
• Identify, evaluate and prioritize business needs, determining, recommending and developing data-driven solutions, playing a central role in aligning these needs with the technical and financial capabilities.
• M&A Support and analysis
• Document, review and improve process efficiency

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of English, French is a strong asset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• CFA or on the path (an asset)
• Autonomy, initiative and good organizational skills
• 1 to 3 years experience in a multinational public company
• Experience and ability to work as a bridge between technical and nontechnical audience
• Methodical, rigorous and comfortable working in an environment where confidential information is handled
• Detail-oriented, fast learning capacity and ability to work in a dynamic growth environment
• Excellent knowledge of the Office suite, with advanced skills in Excel, VBA (an asset)
• Understanding and experience with databases(SAP Hana) and data relationships
• Degree in a discipline such as Finance, Business administration, Mathematics or Engineering
• Good analytical capabilities to develop solutions and business cases to complex topics
• Ability to perform in an Agile environment: backlog and sprint management, user story creation, functional and non-functional requirements gathering and fit-gap analysis, business case realization knowledge, etc.
• Proven expertise in analytical methods, techniques, and software/tools, Power BI, and other analysis solutions
