Senior Business Analyst - Data Visualization

On behalf of our client, Affinity is looking for a Business Analyst who will work with internal clients to provide business data visualization to a wide scope of programs to support more impactful presentation and storytelling.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate & compile data from multiple databases, establish and test data connections to build reporting solutions that provide data-driven analysis of project’s performance, financials, schedule, risk & other KPIs and present these details in a digestible, visually appealing ways

• Support leaders with the creation of reporting, presentations etc.

• Assess and gather business requirements to build data visualization solutions that establish cross-team clarity amongst both technical and non-technical audiences

• Create reports and presentations that will be reviewed by senior leadership and executive committee(s)

• Lead multiple time-sensitive tasks with competing priorities with minimum guidance & acute attention to detail

• Update communications on company website ( intranet)

• Collaborate across key business lines and functional stakeholders to develop reporting requirements, data pipelines, and automation strategy

• Work with stakeholders to ensure deliverables are in alignment with business needs

• Analyze legacy databases and data availability, use knowledge of business and data structures to streamline reporting while ensuring data integrity and automating reporting

Qualifications:

• Data Visualization experience

• Experience in full MS suite, specifically M365

• UI/UX design and Business Writing skills an asset

• Previous experience working with stakeholders across business units

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics

• Experience using advanced MS Excel functions and proficiency in SQL

• Project Management experience is a plus

• Strong communication skills with ability to interact at any level within organization
