Job Description

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director of BVT Operations, we are seeking an experienced leader to join BVT Truck & Trailer Repair in Red Deer, Alberta. The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in achieving financial, strategic, and operational goals while focusing on our corporate goals of people, growth and utilization.

This is an operational leadership role involved in executing strategy, developing and implementing and action plans to increase utilization while driving operational efficiencies within the maintenance division.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

·To add value to employees, customers, and the transportation industry as a whole

·Lead and develop the maintenance team to achieve organizational strategy, goals and objectives

·Identify and pursue opportunities with a focus on improving equipment up-time

·Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions to optimize work processes and efficiencies

·Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance and repairs

·Ensure all equipment and tools are well maintained and in good working condition

·Comply with all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

·Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure we offer the highest level of customer service and support and continue to build on the retail presence in the Red Deer area

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

·CVIP qualified

·3-5 years’ experience in a leadership role

·Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members

·Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

·Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

·Demonstrated ability to monitor performance and deliver results with a team

·Understanding of financial reporting
