We are looking to place a permanent bookkeeper with our Aerospace client. Self-driven and organized accounting professionals are needed for an exciting Bookkeeper opportunity. The ideal candidate must be self-driven, organized, and comfortable working under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. Administering reconciliation, month-end closing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable will be the Bookkeepers obligations. Additionally, the Bookkeeper will handle coding, light journal entries or general ledger reconciliation and perform data entry, cash applications, and full cycle A/P. Located in Sturgeon County, Alberta, this Bookkeeper role will be a permanent opening. Apply for this role today!

Your responsibilities

• Check monthly accounting close
• Adept in credit card management and reconciliation
• Keep a check on Accounts Payable
• Experience with Accounts Receivable
• Manage GST and create and file quarterly payments
• Prepare monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
• Organize general ledger
• Supply cash flow projections, as needed
• Direct monthly accounting close

Requirements

• Adeptness in customer invoices
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Collecting Payments experience highly valued
• Strong familiarity with Approved Invoices
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
• Background working with Ledger Reconciliations
• Code Invoices experience preferred
• Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
• Practical knowledge of bank reconciliations
• Demonstrated knowledge of Enter Invoices
• Prior experience with Full Cycle Payroll
• Good understanding of reconciliations
• Detailed and have the ability work independently
• Experience with EFT Payments
• Process Bi-weekly Payroll experience desired
• 3+ years of related accounting experience
• Coding Invoices experience highly desired
• General familiarity with Enter Vendor Invoices
• Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
• Strong organization skills
• Crucial accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
• Cash reconciliations experience highly preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
• Earlier work involving Statement Reconciliations
• Previous experience working with Cash Payments
