Sprucewood Pharmacy, Shield Wireline, and Sona-Dyne Services are looking for a bookkeeper to maintain our financial records and handle all financial transactions. Bookkeeper responsibilities include auditing financial documents to ensure accuracy, calculating payments and expenses, entering financial data and maintaining records. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping procedures and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. Ultimately, you’ll ensure our company’s financial stability by managing all daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and take messages.
• Manage all payroll processing for state of Wisconsin Department of Workforce Services.
• Enter daily entries to the general ledger
• Calculate monthly, quarterly and annual taxes
• Calculate salaries, wages, and commissions paid to employees
• Reconcile accounts at the end of the day
• Manage bank deposits and credit card payments.
• Prepare weekly reports for supervisors.
• Manage all accounting transactions
• Perform other duties as requested by management. (This includes but is not limited to the following duties: answering phone calls; taking messages; making deliveries; performing bookkeeping tasks such as preparing bank deposits; performing financial research; auditing financial transactions; calculating payments; entering data).
