Bilingual Senior Accountant - Permanent - 16386

About The Opportunity

Our client who is located in Gatineau is looking for a bilingual Senior Accountant to join their growing team. You would work closely with accounting team to manage financial tasks including accounts payable/receivable, capital assets and bank reconciliations. This role provides support to the Controller, Accounting Manager and management.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Maintain up to date dash boards
• Prepare, account for month end entries and make adjustments
• Perform account analyses, prepare or review ledger entries
• Participate in preparation of necessary information during audits
• Assist other team members when needed in AR, AP , etc
• Record daily transactions including Accounts Receivable/payable, fixed assets and bank reconciliations

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• At least three years of experience in a similar role
• Fluent in French and comfortable working in a French environment
• DEC in Finance or Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
