Banga's Equipment Canada- Service Technician

Bangas Equipment Canada is seeking a Service Technician to join our team in Taber, AB. Our Service Technician provides excellent customer service both in the shop and in the field. The goal is to carry out service tasks in an efficient and profitable manner, to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention and to meet their expectations.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time permanent position with the hourly wage ranging from $30-$40 depending on skill set and education levels. Hours of work will be Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Some overtime and/or weekend work will be required during our peak season. Health and Dental benefits are available after 3 months. RRSP benefits are available after 12 months.
Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure all work areas are clean, organized and safe. Familiarize yourself with fire and emergency procedures.
• Educate apprentices and request their assistance as required.
• Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate company growth.
• Be on call depending on crucial service calls and seasonal requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions.
• Keep educated of industry’s developments and make suggestions to areas of improvement to your supervisor.
• Research and educate yourself with all our product lines and relay expertise to the end customer.
• Ensure shop, equipment and service vehicles are always clean and safe.
• Follow the schedule as directed by the supervisor.
• Request creation of tasks through the Controller. Ensure tasks are updated accordingly through time clocks and notes in the accounting software.
• Assemble equipment efficiently and in proper sequence.
• Attend any training as mandated and perform any other tasks as requested by management.
• Request parts and supplies through the Parts Technician.
• Provide telephone and in person customer support if required.
• Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution under the direction of management. Ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
• Identify, determine parts required for service tasks and communicate to your supervisor.
• Load and unload equipment in an efficient and safe manner.

Requirements:

• Valid Drivers license and clean driving record.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Red Seal Journey person certification is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
