We are looking for a highly motivated and exceptionally creative Social Media Specialist with experience and passion to help us gain an abundance of likes, retweets, and shares, as well as notable increase in social media brand awareness. This person will administer OSF’s social media marketing campaigns from conception through to post-campaign analysis including copy creation, planning, goal setting, and publication – all with the aim of supporting the marketing department in generating new leads and brand and product awareness.
The ideal candidate has proven social media experience and knowledge of B2B communications in the tech field, with a minimum of three years in a similar role. They should be well versed in the role of a brand advocate and aware of how to develop, manage and analyze social media marketing efforts. Solid strategic abilities and a sense of how to compile reports to demonstrate results are essential for this position.
This is a global and highly collaborative role, working directly with the Marketing, Innovation, and Culture teams.
As a Social Media Specialist, you WILL:
- Support the digital team in the paid social media activities.
- Reply to messages, to comments, and engage in online conversations.
- Handle other social media activities and related task that may occur as part of the role.
- Manage OSF’s social media accounts including our Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube channels.
- Perform social media listening and then apply the results from the insights gained from this activity.
- Research and use the best hashtags for each context.
- Write and post content on social media to create buzz for our services, solutions, products, events, marketing materials, and job opportunities.
- Own the communications with partners on the dedicated channels.
- Undertake competitive analysis activities and offer recommendations based on your findings.
- Track sentiment and implement corrective measures when necessary.
- Create and manage our global social media calendar.
As a Social Media Specialist, you ARE:
- Digitally-savvy and up-to-date on all the latest and greatest social media tools and tactics
- Having excellent English skills
- Able to translate technical information into marketing content
- Experienced in working with Social Media scheduling, reporting and listening tools
- Very organized with a high attention to detail
- Someone who has proven experience with B2B communications, worked with tech/software development companies or in a professional services environment and has a minimum of three years in a similar role
