Job Title— AWS / Azure Infrastructure Project Manager
Location--Remote
Contract Role
We are looking for a qualified, experienced, and self-motivated AWS and Azure Infrastructure Project Manager to join our dynamic IT team. The selected individual will lead the management and execution of cloud infrastructure projects, mainly focusing on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all aspects of the project life cycle for AWS and Azure infrastructure initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
Lead the planning and implementation of project plans, risk management plans, and project documentation.
Work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, testers, and system administrators, to ensure efficient execution and successful completion of projects.
Establish and manage relationships with third-party vendors and suppliers.
Ensure the efficient use of resources, including personnel, budget, and technologies.
Monitor project progress regularly and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is highly desirable.
Proven experience as a Project Manager handling AWS and Azure infrastructure projects.
Deep understanding of cloud architecture and different service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Excellent knowledge of AWS and Azure Services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Azure Compute, Azure Storage, and Azure AD.
Understanding of other IT disciplines, such as software development, networking, data center operations, and software deployment.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
