KASAPUR IT services is a Dedicated IT Consulting and Staffing Services Company looking for

Informatica Infrastructure Engineer

for our Highly Reputed Financial Client based out of Toronto. This Position is Full -Remote

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Provide operational support for incidents related to Informatica infrastructure, workflows and application performance on legacy platforms
• (nice to have) Develop automation scripts to migrate Informatica workflows from on prem to cloud
• Design and deploy Informatica secure agent and provide diagrams to illustrate the infrastructure plans.
• Provide technical design and guides for Informatica upgrade, patching, workflow migration and service continuity.
• Adopt Agile methodologies for projects deliverables and day to day activities

Important Note: : We are not looking for an Informatica Developer but an engineer, someone with experience inDesign solutions.

If no experience with Informatica we need an Unix engineer with extensive experience with ETL/BI Tools.

Goals and deliverables

Must haves:

• Solaris
• Needs to understand the architecture of this environment
• Oracle Databases
• 10 years of experience building with this type of infrastructure
• 9.x,10.x are also sufficient
• Strong communication Skills
• Strong understanding of Unix Operating Systems: Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Strong understanding of Windows Operating Systems: Windows Server
• Automation scripting
• 1-2 years with IDMC: Informatica Data Management Cloud
• Disaster Recovery
• Informatica migration experience

Plusses:

• Cloud experience (preferably Azure)
