JOB Description

As a Systems Administrator (DevOps) for AWS, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of AWS infrastructure and services. You will collaborate with development teams, and Hydro-Québec cell system administrators to create and maintain a robust and agile cloud infrastructure to support the organization's digital products and services. Profile • Undergraduate degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. • Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, are a plus; • Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing AWS-based cloud infrastructure; • Solid knowledge of AWS services and best practices, including IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc. • Mastery of automation and infrastructure tools as code such as Cloud Formation, Terraform, or AWS CDK; • Familiarity with CI/CD processes; • Experience of containerization technologies; • Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices for cloud environments; • Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell for automation tasks; • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to effectively manage incidents and outages; • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams; • Good communication (French) and teamwork skills. Technology/Tools Required : At least two years of full-time experience as an AWS system administrator.
