About The Role


The Technical Support Representative is responsible for receiving and resolving inbound phone and email support requests from internal and external customers across North America. The individual serves as the ‘go-to’ person for all technical automotive part enquiries and is responsible for providing technical troubleshooting skills with a positive, energetic, and confident attitude.


What You Will Be Working On


  • Produce clear, efficient, and timely logs of calls and emails into a client-case tracking system to manage requests and issues
  • Follow established departmental procedures including call documentation, investigation, escalation, and resolution
  • Respond to first level customer support phone calls and emails, providing extraordinary customer service and timely issue resolution.
  • Assist with special projects, trade shows and conventions as required
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved to their satisfaction
  • Investigate and troubleshoot using various internal tools and web-based applications
  • Collaborate with various internal teams including Engineering and Quality
  • Resolve support issues in a prompt and efficient manner while escalating to the support manager, or technical team members when necessary.


What are we looking for?


  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast paced, high-activity environment
  • Fluent in French or Spanish is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, web-based applications and Customer Relationship Management systems
  • Ability to read 2D and 3D automotive part drawings and blueprints
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management software, ERP systems, technical references like All Data, Mitchell ProDemand and aftermarket parts catalogues is an asset
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a customer focused position involving technical knowledge of a companies' products and services
  • Working knowledge of automotive suspension systems, chassis and steering components*


Physical Demands And Working Conditions


  • Standard office setting
  • 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Will be required to work on-site for first three months
