A tight knit group of passionate Land Rover enthusiasts, technicians and specialists, we pride ourselves on the highest quality of work. We are seeking a replacement full time parts manager to take on our large parts operation and continue to help us grow into our next stage and beyond.
Responsibilities:
The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing and operating a profitable parts department, including driving parts sales internally to our workshops and externally to the public using our new online store. The part manager will be responsible for and oversee all aspects of the parts department operations and management.
- Analyse and maintain stocking inventory levels to support all departments
- Process and follow through on all parts and materials returns and warranty claims
- Establish and maintain monthly budgets and sales targets.
- Oversee and manage existing parts department employees
- Additional duties as required by management
- Ensure the security of inventory and analyse the quality of all parts
- Manage and Constantly analyse and optimise parts supply chains
- Operate and maintain all aspects or our online parts store
- Keep records up to date and submit to our accounting department in a timely manner
- Prepare proposals for adding new products to our inventory
- Negotiate with vendors, suppliers and manufacturers
- Research existing and new products and brands related to company's operations
- Assist with service department and office admin duties as required.
- Operate and serve all departments daily parts requirements
Requirements:
- Ability to develop new relationships with staff and peers within The Company
- Ability to create and enforce process in The Company
- Computer literate, with ability to learn as you go with our inventory/accounting systems we have in place
- Extreme commitment to detail
- Strong multi-tasking abilities
- Exceptional time management and task management skills
- Strong Leadership and People management skills
