In this role, you will:

• Capturing actuals in Primavera P6 based on financial data.
• Assisting the Project Scheduler, Sustainment PMO Manager and PMs to convey project data and information to all members of the project team in a timely manner that will support the decision-making process.
• Preparing short, medium, and long-term scenario plans and provide analysis and interpretation of results.
• Monitoring schedule adherence during the project lifecycle and assisting with recovery plan development to protect the critical path .
• Developing and maintaining suitable metrics such as: slip/waterfall charts and s-curves.
• Working closely with Project Managers (PMs) to establish and maintain program and project schedules on bi-weekly cadence.
• Maintaining project / program baselines in Primavera P6.
• Provide Victoria In-Service Support Contract (VISSC) Program scheduling support by:
• Assisting in the development and implementation of Projects Controls measures and metrics to demonstrate schedule adherence and continual performance improvement.
• Gathering data and providing updates to project schedules and developing reliable, informed schedule forecasts.

The ideal candidate brings:

• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Project Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification (an asset).
• A bachelor's degree, college diploma or certificate in Administration or Business management and related work experience (2 years).
• Experience working with the Department of National Defence (DND) and/or Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) (an asset).
• You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
• Advanced MS Project user skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with subject matter experts, colleagues, and users.
• Good judgment and a high level of confidentiality.
• The ability to function in a self-directed manner in a team environment, including personal workload management (organizing and prioritizing) with a focus on meeting deadlines in a high-paced environment.
• The ability to identify and implement innovative administrative solutions to increase efficiencies.
• Demonstrable experience in Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, meaning that you must have received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the Government of Canada with the final dose at least 14 days prior to your start date as well as any COVID boosters recommended by public health authorities
• Experience in gathering, maintaining, reporting and analyzing schedule data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work with precision and accuracy, demonstrating attention-to-detail and have excellent record keeping skills.
• The ability to understand and adhere to procedures and policies.
