Assistant Video Editor Jobs

Bergougnou Productions is seeking an assistant video editor. The ideal candidate will have experience in both editing and animation. This position will be responsible for assisting the lead video editor with the creation of promotional videos for our clients. The intention is to hire this position on a contract basis until Bergougnou Productions has qualified the candidate to be a good fit, then the candidate may have the option to work full time on a salary basis.

Qualifications:

• Must be comfortable working on multiple projects at once
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
• Must have examples of past work (please do not apply if you do not have this)
• High comfortability working in Premiere Pro and After Effects (Photoshop and Illustrator are an added bonus)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements

Hours

This is not a full time position. Hours will vary day to day but candidate must be on call Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Candidate must also be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays (Any hours needed outside of Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm will be approved by the candidate in advance).

Responsibilities:

Edit/animate promotional videos for clients based on scripts/storyboards/concepts provided by client. This may include sourcing stock or potentially designing some material in Photoshop/Illustrator. You will also have to apply any feedback the lead editor or client may have.
