Are you a creative and skilled video editor ready to bring stories to life through the power of visual storytelling? Spandrel Interactive is seeking a dynamic Video Editor to join our team on a part time basis to edit videos for product trailers, demos and other promotional material.
If you have a keen eye for detail, a knack for narrative, and the technical prowess to turn raw footage into captivating content, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities of a Video Editor:
- Utilize your expertise in video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) to enhance visual storytelling.
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to project timelines and deadlines.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and offer innovative ideas to improve the visual impact of our projects.
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, cohesive videos that align with project goals.
- Apply creative transitions, effects, and audio enhancements to elevate the overall quality of the content.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to understand project objectives and vision.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Proficiency in video editing software and a solid understanding of post-production processes.
- Attention to detail, ensuring the highest level of quality in the final product.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects is a plus.
- Proven experience as a video editor, showcasing a strong portfolio of previous work.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual aesthetics.
There are both short-term and long-term opportunities. We are flexible with contract arrangements being available on a full-time or part-time basis.
