The opportunity:

As the master grower, you will be overseeing and providing support in all aspects of the facilities operations. It is your responsibility to maintain optimal plant health throughout both vegetative and flower stages to obtain high yields and exceptional quality. You will be required to learn and adhere to standard operating procedures in accordance with health Canada regulations. Must have the ability to manage work flow.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining an IPM schedule
• Maintain optimal VPD conditions
• Monitoring plant health, diagnosing and resolving any potential stresses
• Working and communicating with the propagation manager to ensure the cloning process is on schedule.
• Monitor cannabis throughout the drying and curing process
• Oversee and manage all aspects of growing. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining a feed schedule, topping, defoliation, foliar sprays, trimming, waste disposal, harvesting and inventory management.
• Working and communicating with the trim team to ensure the trimming process is on schedule.

Requirements:

• Leadership and management skills
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel for extended periods of time
• Safe and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a master grower

* Working knowledge, experience or education in other aspects of a licensed production facility considered asset *

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kelowna, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Master Grower: 5 years (required)
