We are seeking an AI Data Scientist to join our multi-functional team of developers in charge of the entire software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing AI and machine learning models and deploying them to production. As an AI Data Scientist, you should be familiar with AI and machine learning frameworks, algorithms, and statistical analysis tools. You should be a team player with a strong sense of visual design and utility. Interpersonal, presentation, and leadership skills are essential. Extensive communication experience in and outside of the organization. Capable of working in environments with significant ambiguity and of exploring and driving to clear requirements. Capable of effectively interacting with customers and staff it’s a plus if you are also familiar with agile methodologies. You will work with large volumes of complex data and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex business problems. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing data labelling efforts to ensure accurate and high-quality training data.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with other data scientists, developers, and stakeholders to identify business requirements and use cases.
- Work with large volumes of complex data to identify patterns and insights
- Working alongside user interface/user experience designers for web design features.
- Staying abreast of developments in AI and machine learning frameworks, algorithms, and statistical analysis tools.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI / ML models that drive business decisions and improve customer experiences
- Mentoring junior developers (for Senior and Lead roles).
- Led projects through ideation, defining tasks, estimating work, planning tasks, and releases (for Senior and Lead roles).
- Continuously monitor model performance and make improvements as needed
- Ensuring the scalability and reliability of AI and machine learning models.
- Build and maintain data pipelines to support model development and deployment
- Preparing data, training models, and evaluating model performance.
- Oversee data labelling efforts to ensure accurate and high-quality training data
- Performing data analysis and visualization to gain insights into data.
- Working with product managers to define features, estimate work, and plan sprints and releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex business problems
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Experience with data labelling and annotation processes is a plus
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools such as R or SAS.
- Experience with cloud-based machine learning platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience in developing and deploying AI and machine learning models to production.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques, including deep learning, supervised and unsupervised learning, and reinforcement learning.
- Ph.D. Degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a similar field of study.
- Experience with data preprocessing, data visualization, and data cleaning techniques
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Additional Requirements for Senior and Lead:
● Managed a team of data scientists.
● Managed a team to build and release a large-scale distributed AI and machine learning application.
