Artificial Intelligence Engineer Intern

We are seeking a talented and experienced AI Engineer with a strong background in computer vision and expertise in working with edge devices. As an AI Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and deploying cutting-edge computer vision algorithms on edge devices, enabling real-time inference and intelligent decision-making at the edge.

Responsibilities:

• Document the development process, methodologies, and algorithms for knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Optimize and fine-tune computer vision models for performance, accuracy, and memory footprint on edge devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer vision algorithms, performance bottlenecks, and system integration on edge devices.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision, deep learning, and edge computing.
• Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in AI, computer vision, and edge computing, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our AI solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision solutions into edge devices, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and data scientists.
• Design, develop, and optimize computer vision algorithms for edge devices, focusing on real-time performance and resource efficiency.
• Evaluate and select appropriate hardware platforms and architectures for efficient deployment of computer vision models.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of computer vision algorithms on different edge devices and platforms.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Knowledge of hardware acceleration techniques (e.g., GPU, FPGA) for computer vision tasks is a plus.
• Strong understanding of edge computing concepts, limitations, and optimizations.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++ and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenCV.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex ideas.
• Hands-on experience deploying computer vision models on edge devices such as embedded systems, IoT devices, or mobile platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI services and APIs for model training and deployment is beneficial.
• Solid experience in computer vision, deep learning, and image processing techniques.
