Position: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated NLP/ML/AI engineer to join our team in developing cutting-edge AIGC applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing state-of-the-art AI systems, conducting model fine-tuning, evaluating performance, and implementing data-driven optimizations. They will also provide mentorship and guidance to fellow NLP/ML engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define strategic roadmaps.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fine-tuning for customized models to optimize performance.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow NLP/ML engineers, fostering their professional growth.
  • Evaluate model performance and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Stay updated with industry advancements and incorporate innovative techniques into our applications.
  • Spearhead the design and implementation of state-of-the-art AIGC applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define strategic roadmaps for AI/NLP projects.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing core components of complex AIGC applications.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote work environment while effectively collaborating with the team.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks such as PyTorch/TensorFlow.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
  • Strong understanding of neural network models (e.g. Transformer) and NLP techniques (e.g., word/sentence embeddings, attention mechanisms).
  • More than six months of experience applying pre-trained language models (e.g. LLaMA, BERT, GPT-3, XLNet) for migration learning and fine-tuning for specific tasks. Model optimization techniques like hyper-parameter tuning is a plus.
  • 3+ years of industry experience in building NLP systems and applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
