Area Sales Manager - Full Time Temp

Position Overview

Our temporary opening runs through 1/7/2024 on our consumer electronics team as an Area Sales Manager for our Sony® Client Account. The Area Manager will help supervise and facilitate the remote day-to-day development of a team of field Electronics Sales locations in an assigned region, ensuring execution of all performance and quality standards as agreed upon by the client and ActionLink Sales Operations Team.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• This is a temporary position running through January 7th, 2024
• Tuesday through Saturday (subject to change starting in November to Wednesday through Monday)

Duties

• Other assignments as requested by the client and ActionLink Leadership
• Manage sales performance of assigned locations, striving to execute above assigned quota
• Execute against sales program operations plan, mission, and key performance indicators
• Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with Regional Sony Supervisors, Best Buy General Managers, and ActionLink Leadership
• Ensure that products are properly merchandised, stocked, displayed, and functional
• Train store staff on product information and to Identify customers' needs and recommend appropriate Sony products
• Function as a single point of contact for the Sony team within the assigned region

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing and coaching a team, preferably in retail or similar multi-unit sales environment
• Proven track record of strong critical thinking skills required
• Able to travel locally 90% of time to conduct in-store field visits throughout assigned region
• Must have access to reliable vehicle transportation and valid driver's license
• Able to work Tuesdays through Saturdays
• Consumer electronics industry experience a plus
• 3+ years of goal-based sales experience
• Possess solid business knowledge related to sales execution strategies, retail marketing, and client relations
• Strong PC knowledge, including all Office Suite applications
• Persuasive communication and relationship building skills
