Job Description
Description
Our client is looking to permanent a Manager of Application Systems. The Manager of Application Systems is an individual who possess knowledge on multiple systems including Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), Payment Systems and related integrations. The manager will oversee the Information Support team which includes providing technical guidance, setting team goals, and ensuring timely resolution of system issues. Additionally, this position is responsible for managing vendor relationships related to support 3rd level escalations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex system issues.
  • Monitor and report on system performance, including uptime, availability, and response times.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure timely and accurate resolution of system issues.
  • Collaborate with system owners to maintain documentation of system processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure effective delivery of system support services.
  • Lead and manage a team of Application support analysts, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to meet the company's objectives.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the systems.
Requirements
College or University degree
At least 5 years of experience in application systems support, including experience in leading a team.
Familiarity with cloud-based systems and virtualization technologies.
Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, POS - Point of Sale, PMS - Property Management Software, Retail E-Commerce, Payment technology, Manage Vendor Relationships.
Staying up-to-date with new IT developments in the industry.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
