As a QA Engineer, these will be your main tasks and responsibilities:

Experience with large program implementation supporting multiple testing functions (data management, environment management, defect tracking and reporting)

Experience working with in test case management and defect management tool

Provides testing and validation services to ensure IRP Student Program meets organizational standards and end-user requirements.

Assesses testing needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes)

Experience in testing of configured COTS solution on cloud platform and various integrated point solutions

Experience in API testing using tools like POSTMAN, JMeter etc.

Proven experience as a POS Tester, specifically with APTOS Version 1.

Perform comprehensive testing of the APTOS Version 1 Point of Sale (POS) system.

Brief Project Managers and IAM management team on test strategies, test plans and test results

Work with project team members at the requirements and design phase to develop test strategies, test plans and test cases

Manage defect identification, vendor defect resolution and defect tracking in Azure DevOps/VSTS

Develop and execute test scenarios, manual test scripts and participate test data preparation

Leverage Azure DevOps/VSTS to provide testing status reporting and issue summary reports

Write Quality Assurance and Quality Control Standard Operating Procedures

5+ experience in Quality Assurance

Jira,Agile, Manual testing, test case design

SQL- Data retrieval, Stored procedures, Functions and Views

Knowledge of tools such as TestRail, Jira, and Postman is required

Experience with GraphQL APIs is a plus

At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with solid expertise in manual testing and experience working in Scrum

Experience working with mobile applications developed in React Native and websites developed in React

Knowledge of GraphQL APIs and tools such as Postman is a plus

Knowledge of PostgreSQL is a plus

Work with software developers, project managers and clients to validate and ensure all software releases are of high quality

Provide regular status updates of testing to the project manager and to the team

Minimum 2+ years experience in software quality assurance

Strong experience with manual testing (this role is majority manual testing)

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail

Good analytical and problem-solving skills
