Job Description
  • Use discretion and make sound decisions while working with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping the management informed of project related issues.
  • Experience building data warehousing solutions in a collaborative, agile development environment.
  • Produce systems design manuals, as needed.
  • Utilize an agile methodology such as Kanban, Scrum, or SAFe to organize workload and to short iterations with rapid feedback loops.
  • Has experience with on-prem as well as cloud
  • Write stored procedures, views and user defined functions using Microsoft SQL Server/T-SQL to extract, transform and/or load legacy data.
  • Communicate project status and issues to the program and client management.
  • Experience in the Design, build and deployment of effective data integration packages utilizing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Perform unit and integration testing.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities when transforming the legacy data.
  • Create release packages and ensure data integration solutions are added to the department’s source control system
  • Produce technical documentation and reference materials.
  • Respectfully question ideas and share a point of view with others in support of the business requirements and needs.
  • Participate in release and iteration plans.
