Analyst / Senior Analyst / Associate - M&A / Private Equity

About the role:

The M&A Analyst / Senior Analyst / Associate is part of the Mergers and Acquisitions team at Thrust Capital Partners and is responsible for understanding the business and growth strategies of each investment platform, researching the aerospace market and presenting findings and suggestions for merger and acquisition prospects to the executive team.

Additionally, the M&A Analyst / Senior Analyst / Associate participates in various M&A activities including, due diligence, building financial models, preparing packages, execution of the transaction, and assisting with the development and implementation of integration plans to ensure long term success.

You will join a new team in a position that requires a good understanding of finance and accounting fundamentals.

Responsibilities:

• Support management in various special projects
• Support and analyse performance of portfolio companies
• Support management in multiple tasks such as valuation, presentation to investment committees, etc.
• Participate in the valuation of potential acquisition and the due diligence process
• Research, identify, and analyse various acquisition opportunities and document potential acquisitions
• Research and analyse the aerospace markets and potential targets
• Build complex financial models
• Review legal documentation

Experience:

• Ability to work in a team and adapt to a changing environment
• Autonomous and driven
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in investment, private equity, investment banking or M&A advisory
• Excellent knowledge of financial and accounting fundamentals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
• CPA, CFA and / or CBV designation (either completed or in-process)

Full time position. Compensation based on experience.
