WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS:


Reporting to the Manager, Maintenance Operations, the Tech Ops Router will liaise with Maintenance Planning to determine the optimal aircraft specific routing to ensure maximum efficiency for maintenance touch time.


They will liaise with Lynx Operations to determine the most effective routing during irregular operations. Taking into consideration the following factors and determining the best solution.


  • Limit flight delays or cancellations
  • Maintenance requirements
  • Parts, manpower and facilities location


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:


  • Technical Operations point of contact for company material logistics (Lynx COMAT)
  • Act as the Tech Ops point of contact for vendor support
  • Assist in monitoring on time performance and technical delays
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Be an active part of the Technical Operations team as we expand our operations and responsibilities
  • Make sure aircraft are routed to ensure the required maintenance touch times are met
  • Assist with communications for notifying OCC of MEL restrictions affecting passengers. ex. Blocked seats, locked out lavs, etc.
  • Work with various Departments to determine maintenance requirements are met when building new schedules.


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:


  • Knowledge of iFlight software considered a benefit
  • Working knowledge of both airports, and maintenance operations an asset
  • Proficiency in CARS, MBF and company regulations
  • The ability to obtain a RAIC is required
  • Comfortable in making decisions in a subjective environment
  • Minimum of 5 years in an airline environment
  • Experience and proficiency in aviation software and applications required
  • Previous experience in an airline operations centre environment preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive attitude under stress and when dealing with changing or conflicting priorities
