Job Description
Responsible for the calibration, testing, and repair of customer equipment, including involvement in customer cases (technical support) and return merchandize authorizations (RMA).


In This Role, You Will


  • Analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair customer-owned equipment;
  • Uphold close relationships with regional sales managers to support customers.
  • Perform wiring, soldering, and assembly of specialized electronics and electromechanical components;
  • Assist with management of customer cases and RMA’s, including tracking and responding to support inquiries;
  • Provide calibration service using electronic test, diagnostic software, precision tools & measuring devices;
  • Perform all work in accordance with internal safety policies and procedures;
  • Maintain and organize calibration data and test documentation;
  • Maintain the proper working order and operation of laboratory equipment;
  • Assist with shipping and receiving of deliveries and support general office management;


What We’re Looking For


  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers regarding service orders, quotations & support cases;
  • Availability for occasional travel.
  • Ability to multi-task, employ effective time management, and work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Experience with NDT products and/or materials evaluation equipment a plus;
  • Familiarity with networking a plus;
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency using MS Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair sensitive electronics and electro-mechanical equipment;
  • Certification and demonstrated skills in through hole and surface mount soldering and rework;
  • +3 years in a similar role;
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and decentralized organization;
  • Ability to work with technical sales specialist and sales managers;
  • Associate degree electronics, computer repair;
