Do you have Well-developed problem solving, decision-making, organization, planning and leadership skills?
The Advisor Business Solution will assess the technological needs of Enbridge renewable energy businesses and provide advice on suitable solutions. This involves understanding Enbridge Sustain business goals, operations, and challenges to recommend technology platforms, software systems, and hardware infrastructure that align with business requirements.
What You Will Do
  • Manage vendor relationships: Collaborate with technology vendors, suppliers, and service providers to source, evaluate, and select appropriate technologies.
  • Conduct needs assessments: Work closely with Enbridge sustain businesses team to understand their specific operational and technological needs.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies: Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in renewable energy technologies, such as solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, and energy storage. Evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of emerging technologies and recommend their adoption to improve efficiency, productivity, and sustainability.
  • Industry Collaboration: Act as a bridge between the renewable energy industry and technology providers. Attend conferences, workshops, and industry events to stay updated on the latest developments.
  • Technical management: Oversee the implementation of technology solutions within renewable energy businesses. Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and technology vendors to ensure smooth integration, testing, and deployment of systems. Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to Enbridge sustain businesses regarding the effective use of technology solutions.
  • Develop technology strategies: Based on your assessments and understanding of the business, develop technology strategies and roadmaps that align with the long-term goals of the renewable energy company.
  • Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor the performance of implemented technology solutions and conduct regular assessments to measure their effectiveness. Analyze data, generate reports, and provide insights to stakeholders on how technology is driving business outcomes, improving operational efficiency, and reducing costs.
Who You Are
  • Motivated self-starter that works well independently and in fast paced team environments
  • 4+ years of progressive business process analysis, solution design experience, stakeholder management and project delivery experience
  • Completion of an undergraduate Computer Science/Engineering degree from a recognized post-secondary institution
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
