Job Description


We are looking for a focused data entry clerk to continuously update our company's databases. The data entry clerk will liaise with and follow up with employees within the company as well as with customers to collect information.


The data entry clerk will capture the data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner. You will identify and correct errors, and swiftly bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary. This position is Part-time/full-time and will be done remotely. Responsibilities


  • Entering and updating information into relevant databases.
  • Correcting errors and organizing the information in a manner that will optimize swift and accurate capturing.
  • Participate in research focus groups.
  • Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered.
  • Each panel receives a complete written study.
  • Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval.
  • If products or services are provided, you must actually use them.
  • Gathering invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents and information from employees, other departments and clients.
  • Creating accurate spreadsheets.
  • Take part with work from home surveys / studies by following written and oral instructions.
  • Ensuring data is backed up.
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent information.
  • Handling additional duties from time to time.


Data Entry: Accurately input data into company databases and software systems following established procedures and guidelines.


Requirements


  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • You must have a working camera on your smart phone or a webcam on your desktop / laptop.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote teams.
  • Access to reliable internet connection is essential.
  • Reliable internet connection and appropriate remote work setup.
  • Good understanding of data confidentiality principles.
  • Proficient in using data entry software, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • You would like to be fully involved in one or more of these topics.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in data entry will be a plus.
  • Basic experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with various digital tools and remote communication platforms.
  • Capacity to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
